How to find a new (biblical church) if you leave your old church:

1.    Make good use of the internet, your favorite search engines, and livestream.

2.    Visit their website and scour every inch of the site. 

3.    Read their statement of faith and, if possible, their constitution.

4.    Take a good hard look at their affiliations. 

5.    Look at staff and elder biographies if available on their website (pay close attention to the theological education of the staff).

6.    Attend an online bible study (it’s COVID-19). 

7.    Call the church and talk to the pastor, meet with him if you can.

8.    When restrictions allow, visit the church in person. 

9.    Use your search engine of choice to search their name and examine the number and quality of hits (are they part of scandal or controversy?).
